I think they mean to keep you out, Suzanne. Thanks for visiting again. The war memorial is smack dab in the middle of West Hartford, at the northwest corner of Farmington and Main, at the east end of the original West Hartford Center (before Blueback Square stretched the center further eastward).

Slight touch of paranoia here. But the gate is a joy! We had things like this when I was a kid on our farm. My father rejoiced in variety!
