Chapel on the Green

Each Sunday, rain or shine, Trinity Episcopal Church on the Green in New Haven has a service outdoors at 2:00 pm. After service they serve meals to anyone who is in need of a free meal.
Last Sunday was a gorgeous but hot Sunday. There were quite a lot of people gathered and they had a special drumming group that played.
Interesting contrast between the altar with the elements of the Lord's Supper sitting out and lah-de-dah Ann Taylor women's clothing store. Such is the life in downtown New Haven.

  1. Very nice idea, the double feeding.

  2. That's a good thing and it looks like it's a nice summer atmosphere too.

  3. I have heard about this and wanted to go. Shall we plan a date?

  4. Yes, let's....
Ciel and Dina, want to join us????

  5. Everybody has a happy smile.

    Thank you.

  6. A wonderful outdoor worship service collection of photos! I want to take photos of the outdoor worship at my secretary's church, Easter Lutheran Church, for my blog. THANKS for following my blog - and for your comments!
Blessings to you and yours as we finish celebrating America's Independence Day!
I hope cool weather will arrive soon in the NE!
