Vietnam War Memorial

On one of the ends of Long Wharf, which is on the New Haven Harbor, you'll find the Vietnam War Memorial and several other memorials to the fallen men and women of the various wars. The day I was there it was very cold with some snow still remaining on the ground. You can see there are smaller wreaths and a RIP plaque that had been laid at the base of the black granite V. Listed on the memorial are the people who were killed in action and those who were taken as prisoners of war or who are missing.
