We had our first snowfall overnight last night. It's not really the bleak midwinter yet, more of a winter wonderland at this point. Anyway you choose to look at it, it's quite beautiful. Other than taking Milo out it was a day of catching up inside for me.

Wooster Square, where are the
squirrels now?

As I turned around I saw this brave soul cycling on Chapel Street about 7:00 am. I hope he got to where he was going without frostbite!
So, so peaceful and beautiful. The snow has partly melted here, more's the pity.
ReplyDeleteP.S.: I'm really laaazy tonight so I'm asking you instead of taking a closer look at a map. The only place I know in CT is Ridgefield where I spent the month of August 1988 or 89. Is this anywhere near?
ReplyDeleteWonderful white carpet! That guy is very brave... or absolutely crazy! :-)))
ReplyDeleteRidgefield is about 40 minutes from New Haven. Connecticut is a very small state! Ridgefield is a very beautiful New England town.
ReplyDeleteOh lucky you to have snow.
ReplyDeleteI often sing "In the bleak midwinter" when it gets gray around here.
Love your snowy benches.
