A photojournal of the Wooster Square neighborhood in New Haven, Connecticut. And, occasionally a photo of New Haven, of course, of course.

Meet LeRoy Parks
One day as I rounded the corner on Wooster Street by Anastasio's Restaurant LeRoy was packing up his paints in the trunk of his car. I asked if he was the artist and of course he said he was. LeRoy pointed out other windows that he's painted throughout the years. He's proud of his dying art and enjoys painting windows in his retirement years.
The next two photos below are windows at Stanton Furniture on Grand Avenue. And finally, windows that LeRoy painted for Tony and Lucille's on Wooster Street. These are older windows so some of the paint is peeling off. Yum, cannoli's.
After serving congregations in Fairfield, Bridgeport, and Wilton, CT I am the Senior Redevelopment Pastor at Orange Congregational Church in Orange, CT. Prior to that I lived in Jerusalem (the real one) and I have three GORGEOUS children, the loves of my life.
Very cool.
