Wooster Square Tree Lighting

Tonight was the lighting of the tree in Wooster Square. Neighbors gathered from around the square bringing their own mugs to fill with hot apple cider. Yummy cookies and good cheer was shared by all. We even sang some Christmas Songs...We Wish YOU a Merry Christmas.
Neighbors were encouraged to bring in canned goods for D.E.S.K, Downtown Evening Soup Kitchen organized and hosted by Center Church on the Green, UCC. Quite a lot of food was collected for this soup kitchen who makes meals seven night a week for hungry people in New Haven.
